Provide a web based alternative to Secure FTP for uploading hand-held recorder audio files.
Stop your customers/dictators from sending you dictation files by email or FTP, which is not considered to be HIPAA compliant.
Allow individual portal login for your customers/dictators to help them upload dictations using simple web interface on our fast, secure, and HIPAA compliant Dic2Doc platform.
Our SFU web interface helps your dictators to quickly upload multiple files in a single click
Secure File Uploading (SFU) is available in 3 different styles, giving your dictators enough choice to upload files comfortably. SFU is available as Java Applet SFU (requires Java Runtime installed), ActiveX SFU (specifically for Internet Explorer users), and Traditional File upload.
After uploading the files, your dictators can quickly verify the status of uploaded files from the upload confirmation report.
The upload confirmation report also alerts the dictator if any file is uploaded twice within a month, to avoid duplicate submission of same dictation.
Along with basic uploading of dictation files, a dictator can make use of our intelligent File Renaming utility. While using SFU, a dictator can select one of the File Renaming Styles such as: Default Naming: The original audio filename is simply concatenated to system generated filename. Embed Folder Name in Filename: Suppose the audio files on your computer are inside a folder called "dos 03-25-2009" or "urgent_dos02122009", then selecting this option will make the folder name appear in the expanded filenames for processing. This way a dictator can get important tracking information into the audio filenames and hence even document filenames.Embed Date of Service in Filename: Selecting this option allows the dictator to enter a Date of Service, which will make the system include that as "dosmmddyyyy" in the expanded filenames for processing.
Your clients can also use this SFU service to upload non-audio files such as patient lists, templates, etc which you can use for your transcription work.
We provide you an FTP account (included free of charge) where all the files are available to you soon after they are uploaded by your dictators. Just log into your FTP account, download new dictations, and process them for transcription.
